Ahead of its 14th Annual Forum and 25th anniversary celebration, On Friday, October 15, 2021, Unity Club hosted a General Assembly, followed by its annual members’ retreat.
During the General Assembly, a new executive committee of Unity Club was elected, and it is led by Hon. Marie-Solange Kayisire as the 1st vice Chairperson and Madam Julienne Uwacu as the 2nd vice Chairperson.
The General Assembly preceded a retreat for the members of Unity Club. In the closing remarks of the retreat, Hon. Dr. Edouard Ngirente, the Prime Minister reminded the participants that in the field of governance, Unity Club has set an example of good governance for Rwandans and has continued to strengthen its commitment to decentralization.
Dr. Edouard said “We thank Her Excellence Mrs. Jeannette Kagame for giving Unity Club a great vision that has taken the country to an exciting stage both domestically and abroad. Let's continue to strive for a better future of our country and train our young generation to do so.”
